Re: Which 3D printer to buy?

As iDig3Dprinting said it can be difficult to advise on what printer you should go for due to the huge choice and varied nature of each printer. However, you seem to be going about choosing the right way. Also the Prusa i3 printers are very popular and people rate them highly. Are there any more you...

Re: Biome 3D PLA 3D printer filament

Yes, many plastics are suitable for something like a phone case. I think it depends on user preference. However, PLA is probably always going to be popular due to its ease of use

We have not experienced scanners greatly.

Generally very expensive and sometimes not very accurate.

Re: Print-Rite 3D Printer from Hobbyking

Hi Spitfire,

Nice to see you're a fellow model aircraft enthusiast.

A few years ago I finished a Brian Taylor Me-109 and hope to start on a BT P-47 sometime this year.

Have you got anything on the build board?

Re: Introducing a new filament supplier

Thats very nice.

Yes I finish all my prints with Brasso which is a metal polish. The effect on PLA and ABS is to make it very smooth but with the metal filaments it also brings out the metal.
