As an aside i cannot control from my computer(s). I have two del laptops. One is too old and Cura will not run on it as I do not have OpenGL and the other that runs Cura will not talk to the printer card as the PC it USB 3 and the card is USB 2. Aaaaarrrrgh.

Thanks for your time. I have ordered a MK8 extruder so I can manually feed the filament. I am still not sure what to do when I finish printing. Can I let the filament get cold? Will it extrude again when I heat it up? Do I remove the filament and if so how?

Hi, I have junked the extruder that came with my cheap ctc printer and have a MK8. Can I please have some advice on loading the filament and what to do when I have finished printing and switching off.
