Re: Newbie fan problem
Your print looks like a classic Prusa i3 build. The print fan on the extruder does not need to be on all the time. If you have it set to Auto (I can't remember the fan controls for Cura). so unless it is set to be on 100% of time it won't necessarily come on depending on the model. Check you fan set...

Re: flashforge creator pro or keep with the xyz printer
The difference between the two is really about ease of use to get a good result. With an open filament system, the reason it is able to use lots of different filament s because you have more control over all the different printer settings. So potentially you can get better results and even tweak you...

Re: flashforge dreamer just not printing right
When you say the printing is poor what exactly is poor about the print. How a print comes out can be used as a symptom of the problem. A picture of a print would be very handy.

Yes, concur, yours looks rubbish. I think that you may be massively over extruding, this is also why the nozzle is getting caught on the model, its laying out more plastic than the layer height requires. here are some start and end gcode settings : https://www.thingiverse.com/groups/anycubic...

Re: Forum update.
You have to have the image online already, using an image hosting site or your website I think.
I don't think that there is a direct way to upload images. we added this link using the url of it on our website.

Re: My first 3D printer, the Anycubic i3 Mega Ultrabase.
What material are you using to print with? The commonest cause of poor bed adhesion is not having a level bed and also having a too large a gap between the nozzle and the bed. Unless this is correct it doesn't matter what the temperatures are your model is never going to really stick. If possible I ...

Re: noob struggling to get started
I don't know what firmware the printer is using but there is usually a file called configuration.h that can be altered prior to reflashing the firmware on the board. NB/. DONT REFLASH YOUR BOARD UNLESS YOU HAVE A BACK UP OF THE SOFTWARE AND IT ALLOWS YOU TO REFLASH IT OTHERWISE YOU COULD BRICK YOUR ...

Re: noob struggling to get started
Is the z axis not moving at all? If so this would suggest that your stepper motors are not moving. This could be down to the motors themselves or the stepper drivers. Is the Z lead screw turning? If it is it can also be down to the configuration of steps per mm for the z access, i.e. it is not movin...
