PEI (Polyetherimide) as a printing surface

Post by 3rdDimensionPrinting »

Hi, just to let you guys know that we now have a supply of PEI sheets available for sale in 12" by 12" by 250 microns. As some of you are probably aware it has been notoriously difficult to obtain in the UK until now!
Available here http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/3rddimensionprinting

This stuff is great as a bedplate coating, low maintenance and long lasting. It comes fitted as standard to the newer Lulzbot machines so is suitable as a replacement for them but also as an upgrade to pretty much any FDM 3d printer.

We have been using this as our print surface of choice for a while now and have experienced excellent results, particularly with ABS. For more info on PEI please visit http://reprap.org/wiki/PEI_build_surface or feel free to send us a message with any enquiries.

Best regards from 3rdDimensionPrinting
