Slow heating bed

Ive noticed my bed is slow to heat past 80 degress which understandable for it to take longer at higher temps but I've noticed recently even heating to 55 for pla is slower than normal, went to print some abs today which I don't print very often and it would not exceed 96 degrees even heating for nearly half an hour, tronoxy printer aluminium hot bed ,

There seems to be a trouble with the temperature settings of your 3D printer. And to resolve this, you need to look into the user manual of the equipment. The document would contain the required temperature settings so that you help your 3D printer bed get heated to the required temperature.

If yours is a Creality CR10 then bed heating is inadequate - this is due to the heating depending on a 12v power supply which unfortunately cannot provide enough power. Upsizing the power supply won't fix that.

Changing to a Keenovo can solve this:

You also need a solid state relay to switch the bed on/off:

WARNING: The Keenovo is MAINS POWERED so could be lethal if incorrectly installed. This is very definitely an upgrade which should be installed by a competent electrician.

I installed a Keenovo and it takes seconds to reach 110 degrees - necessary for printing with ABS.
