New User - Ive got a Balco and need help with settings

Hi Everyone
I was given a Balco 3d printer for Christmas and i've been playing with it and it prints but I want to try and make it as good as it can be.
Ive found out that its basically a rebadged Wanhao i3 so i'm using the Cura profile for that with a few tweaks ive added after reading this https://www.simplify3d.com/support/prin ... -or-oozing
Does anyone have one and have a list of their settings that would be a better starting point for me than the Wanhao profile?
Do I need to upgrade anything? (within reason - please don't say the whole machine
) I'm just using the stock pla that came with it, would that make a difference?
