Stepper motor issues

I’ve just upgraded to a bigtreetech skr 1.3 with TMC 2209 drivers on an AM8, and I have a problem with the stepper motors during testing
The extruder works in the correct direction, feed and retract. Z axis works in the correct direction, up and down. However Y will only move to the front of the printer and not to the back, and X will only move to the right and not to the left.
