Hey all, Im using the Eaglemoss V3 3d Printer, I think its a very good printer, i had to build it myself from scratch which i do in a video series on youtube, if you would like to see that its linked here (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=P ... Tb57Skv-hH)
Honest Review
Build Quality
From the 3D printer I have seen a fairly good build quality, very sturdy and very nice, I did have a slight issue with one of the limit switches however I was able to bend it out so that it did click when it should have, I think that some of the issues (magazine issues that is) were backwards, meaning you needed to build a part, to take it apart later, but I can understand that you cant put too much into one magazine due to cost, ETC. I do however, think that it could have been done better.
Customer Service
Customer service was mostly good, up until the last few weeks I did not have any issues with them, however maybe due to my own fault (I blame my bank) when one of my payments came out, i forgot to update my PayPal with my new card details (wanted a contactless card, so new numbers), this delayed my payment and ultimately meant that when I was supposed to get the issue it was out of stock. I wouldn't have minded if it was just for a few weeks, however it was for about 3 months, grinding my videos to a halt and near killing my viewership on the channel for a while, but now I'm inundated with magazines and catch up material, I'm doing two a week. With only 2 months left to go until it is FULLY completed. I'm happy that the issues have been resolved (believe me I did call them regularly).
Worth It?
Yes Id say so, I received a lot of "free models" (most of which are from thingiverse now) which are listed on the website for download, I like this, id be happy if i can download the full pack as a ZIP file.
Summary
To summarise, I like the printer, the build quality is good, fairly strong metal and I am enjoying my time printing now! Very fun and a good beginner printer!
