Weyup - I'm looking at getting a beginners 3D printer for use with MacOS, never used one before so any advice/help on where to start more than welcome.

Just as a general intro, you don't really attach a printer to a PC (well, you can, but...). Even if the pinter is attached to the PC, that only provides a means to send a print file rather than print directly like an ordinary 2D printer might.

That means you can choose practically any printer you like, all you have to do is make sure you can create the print file (ie that there is relevant software for your OS).
