CR10 V2 HEATER PLATE ALTERNATIVE.NEED HELP

Hi folks. I have a Creality CR10 V2 and i"m having issues. I need a new heater plate but the only one i can find is £180'
Well i assume i need one as the plate doesn:t heat up and the plug at the control box end has slightly melted'
Does anyone know of a cheaper alternative heater plate i could use? The CR10S looks the same but not sure it will work ( and it:s only £30 )' Thanks for your help'
