Who are you apologising for?

Manual Movement: Try moving the gantry up and down by hand. Does it feel loose or jerky?
Who are you asking?

Hello,
I have the option of purchasing Tina2s with a damaged hotend heater (wires torn out from the heater). Is it possible to replace the heater itself? If so, can you tell me what the voltage, power and diameter are?
I want to buy a heater before buying the printer to check if this is the only problem (this is what the seller claims).
Unfortunately, where I live it is not possible to buy the entire hotend as one part, and I couldn't find the entire hotend on Aliexpress either.

How will you do that? Is the idea to have a heater standing ready and then buy the Tina2?

The heating element itself will be 12V but I'm not sure what wattage. Neither am I sure it is a straightforward operation to replace just the heater in the block, as it is sealed in with some kind of (presumably) heat transfer compound. Also incorporated into the block is a thermistor/thermocouple temperature sensor.

I am unwilling to try disassembling my heater block any further than it was dismantled above because of the risk of damage. It does not come apart in any easy way.

The heater block (complete) should be available direct from Entina/Weedo/Weefun.

I recommend that you do not buy, or only buy as spare parts.

You're right, my idea didn't make sense.
Thanks for the help :)

Shredded / Broken Drive Belt

Post by CrazyIvan »

Just spotted this on my Tina2:

It was still working like that, but rather than risk the shred getting caught up I trimmed it off. I will have to look into changing the belt sooner rather than later, I'll report back...

No, but I might be able to tell you how to fix it yourself. What, exactly, do you mean by "not working"? Upload video somewhere if you can't describe it.
