Printing gears

Hello all,
I am the owner of a Harrison M250 metal lathe and I am missing the 80 tooth change gear. My question concerns what filament would be best for printing a gear. Has anyone printed a gear for their metal lathe? I have the STL file for the gear need.

You can use nylon, but the gear would have to be quite large to get any strength from an FDM printer. The teeth would need to be quite big too as a small print would shear apart.
