Supports

Hi, I am new to this forum.

I have printed a instrument cover pod which has sloping surfaces, so picking one to print from is a challenge. I have chosen to create supports for the angled surface but the print is coming out on its surface with lots of stringy filament underneath the supports, so the surface finish is very poor.
