Hello,
I'm new to the forum and relatively new to 3D printing - so please excuse my ignorance.
I have an idea for a new product and need to make it from meltable wax. I am looking into buying a used ProJet 3500 CPX Max printer but there are a few issues that I need answers to.
- can you print with just the support wax (e.g. Visijet S300)?
The printed product does not have to be very strong (it is sacrificial). The structure of the product does not need supports. However, it is not economically viable if I use the Visijet Real wax - as this is much too expensive. If I use just the support wax material - this is OK.
- Is the support wax recyclable? (just out of interest)
- Has anyone had any experience printing with wax other than the Visijet range?
Many thanks in advance for your help - if anyone has any other comments re printing with wax, it will be gratefully received.
Ian
